With this initiative, we want to accelerate AI literacy and ensure that this program is available to 1 million workers in the Netherlands.

Now is the time to strengthen our AI skills. Unknown makes unloved – and that also applies to AI. As long as AI remains unknown, we are not taking advantage of the opportunities it offers. Without the right knowledge and skills, we run the risk of falling behind in a world where AI is playing an increasingly important role. AI skills are essential to remain relevant, agile, and future-proof. And just as important: only with sufficient knowledge can we as a society determine how we want to use AI.

For everyone

Knowledge of AI is relevant for everyone – whether you are an SME owner, policymaker, teacher, healthcare provider, or independent professional. AI affects all sectors and professions, and that requires a broad base of understanding and skills.

That is why we are offering the program free of charge and making AI understandable and accessible to everyone, regardless of background or position. By making it available for free, we hope that more people will understand what AI is and can contribute ideas on how to use AI responsibly. Check out aicertified.nl
